1. INSTALL REAR AXLE CARRIER SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

(a) Apply MP grease to a new O-ring.

(b) Install the new O-ring to the rear axle hob and bearing. NOTICE: Do not damage the O-ring.

(c) Install the axle hub and bearing to the rear axle carrier with the 4 bolts. Torque: 86 N·m (877 kgf·cm, 64 ft·lbf)

2. INSTALL REAR AXLE ASSEMBLY

(a) Install the rear upper control arm with the bolt and nut.

(b) Align the matchmarks on the No. 1 rear suspension arm and adjust cam.

(c) Install the No. 1 rear suspension arm with the bolt and nut.

Torque: 250 N·m (2549 kgf·cm, 185 ft·lbf)

Torque: 185 N·m (1886 kgf·cm, 137 ft·lbf)

3. INSTALL NO. 2 REAR SUSPENSION ARM ASSEMBLY LH

(a) Install the No. 2 rear suspension arm to the rear axle with the nut. Torque: 130 N·m (1326 kgf·cm, 96 ft·lbf)

(b) Install a new cotter pin.

4. INSTALL REAR AXLE SHAFT NUT LH

(a) Using a 39 mm socket wrench, install the rear axle shaft nut LH . Torque: 340 N·m (3467 kgf·cm, 251 ft·lbf)

(b) Install the adjusting lock cap and new cotter pin.

5. INSTALL REAR HUB GREASE CAP LH

(a) Install the rear hob grease cap LH.

NOTICE:

Mark sure to securely fit the bearing to the axle hob.

6. INSTALL REAR SPEED SENSOR LH

(a) Using a hexagon wrench, install the rear speed sensor with the bolt. Torque: 8.3 N·m (85 kgf·cm, 73 in·lbf) NOTICE: Make sure that there are no pieces of iron or other foreign matter attached to the sensor tip part. While inserting the speed sensor into the knuckle hole, do not strike or damage the sensor tip part. After installing the speed sensor, make sure that there is no clearance or foreign matter between the sensor stay part and the knuckle. Make sure that there is no foreign matter attached to the magnetic rotor.

(b) Connect the rear speed sensor connector.

7. INSTALL PARKING BRAKE ASSEMBLY

8. INSTALL REAR PNEUMATIC CYLINDER ASSEMBLY LH (for Pneumatic Cylinder Type)

9. INSTALL REAR COIL SPRING LH (for Coil Spring Type)

10. INSPECT REAR WHEEL ALIGNMENT (for Pneumatic Cylinder Type)
